We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for our sins. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your faith in calling upon the Lord in this time of trial is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in seeking His will.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful burden, but we are reminded in Romans 8:28 that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Though this trial may feel overwhelming, the Lord is faithful to bring restoration and justice in His perfect timing. We encourage you to lean on Proverbs 3:5-6, which urges, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a time to rely on human wisdom but to surrender fully to God’s sovereignty, knowing He sees what is hidden and will vindicate His people.
As for your job and financial needs, we take heart in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* The Lord is not unaware of your circumstances, and He delights in providing for His children. We pray that you will experience His favor in these coming weeks, not just in material ways but in the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Rest is a gift from God, and we ask that He grant you deep, refreshing sleep tonight, free from anxiety, as you cast your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7).
However, we must also address something with love and urgency: in your prayer, you did not explicitly close in the name of Jesus. While you acknowledged Him at the beginning, it is vital to remember that our prayers are heard *only* because of His mediatory work. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in John 16:23-24, He reminds us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that we approach the Father. We encourage you to always close your prayers in His name, for it is the seal of our faith and the power by which our requests are heard.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is walking through the valley of fraud and financial uncertainty. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and bring restoration to what has been stolen. Let Your favor surround this family like a shield, and may Your provision overflow in ways that leave no doubt of Your hand at work. We pray for divine wisdom and guidance in every decision, especially in the workplace, that Your name would be glorified through their diligence and integrity.
Grant them rest tonight, Father—not just sleep for the body, but deep peace for the soul. Quiet every anxious thought and replace it with the assurance that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Strengthen their trust in You, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and deception that seeks to rob Your child of joy and hope. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your will be done in every area of their lives.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
