We understand that you're seeking a breakthrough in money settlement discussions and desire a peaceful and amicable conclusion. Firstly, it's important to remember that our ultimate provider is God, as it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
However, we must also ensure that our actions are aligned with biblical principles. In matters of financial disputes, we are encouraged to be fair, honest, and compassionate, as it says in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, seeking your will in this financial settlement. We ask for your wisdom to guide these discussions, and for your peace to rule over the process. We pray against any greed, deceit, or manipulation, and we ask that you soften the hearts of all parties involved. Help them to reach a fair and amicable agreement that is honoring to you, in Jesus' Name.
We also pray for the provision and patience for all involved during this time. Help them to trust in you and your timing, knowing that you are the ultimate provider. We also seek your will for their lives, and pray that through this situation they may draw closer to you and your truth.
Father, we also take this time to pray for any injustices that may be present within these settlements; we pray that you would be the God of justice and that you would rule over these discussions and have sway in the courts. We pray that no one would seek to get more than what is fair and just in God's eyes. We pray that the court and the mediators would rule in a Godly manner and that they would be used in the process to make the decisions for God.
We pray that you would be glorified in this situation. We also pray that if this is not in your will that you would remove this from this person's life and that you would show this person the path that you would take them down. We pray that you would open the eyes of this person's heart and that you would allow them to see the things that you want for them to see. We pray that you would take any dark veils that may be present away from their heart and that you would allow them to see like never before. We pray that this person would seek your will for their lives and be willing to do whatever you want them to do.
Lastly, we pray that during this time this person would seek a closer walk with you and if they have never accepted Jesus as their lord and saviour, then we pray that this experience would be the one that would draw them close to you and that they would accept you as their lord and saviour. We pray that this person would turn their eyes upon Jesus and that they would seek him with all of their heart and that they would look to him for guidance and direction in their lives. We pray that you should be their counselor and that you would be a guiding light in their lives. We pray that you would show them that you are the way, the truth, and the light and that they would be drawn close to you. It is only through a relationship with Jesus that we can be saved. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to study and meditate on Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Seek God's will in this matter, trust in his timing, and act with integrity and compassion. We also encourage you to study on the scriptures concerning money and the love of money. We pray that you would not allow greed to be a motivating factor behind these decisions; but rather, that you would allow the love of money to not be something that would drive you. We pray that you would seek to be Christ like in all of your decisions and be a light to others in your actions and deeds.
