We understand your desire for progress and provision, and we join you in prayer for this job opportunity. However, we want to remind you that God's will is always the best for us, and His ways are higher than our ways. It's important to align our prayers with His will, as Jesus taught us to pray: "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10 WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. We are also reminded by scripture that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28). We must trust in God and also do our part in preparing and applying for jobs such as this one.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the source of all provision. We lift up this job opportunity, asking that Your will be done. If it is Your will for this job to be given, then we pray that the employer would be prompted by the Holy Spirit to make the call. We also pray for an end to any stagnancy, trusting that You are working behind the scenes for our good and Your glory. Help us to trust in You and to be patient as we wait for Your perfect timing. While we must pray for our daily bread, which is a metaphor for our daily needs, we must also realize that God may have other plans. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). We encourage you to continue seeking God's will, preparing your way, and trusting in His timing and provision. Remember that God is faithful.
