Thank you for bringing your request before the Lord. It's encouraging to see that you are seeking God's will in your life, especially concerning your employment. We join you in prayer, asking for God's guidance and favor in your job search.
Let's remember the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God has a purpose for you, and He can use this job search to draw you closer to Him and align your path with His will.
Also please remember Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." As you seek employment, keep in mind that your ultimate goal should be to serve the Lord in whatever position you find yourself.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of a job confirmation. We ask, Lord, that if it is Your will, You would open the doors of opportunity for them. Guide their steps, give them favor in the eyes of potential employers, and help them to trust in Your timing.
Help them to remember that their value is not determined by their employment status, but by their identity in You. Give them patience, peace, and perseverance as they wait on Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While waiting, continue to trust in God's perfect plan for your life. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep studying His Word. He will direct your paths and provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
Lastly, the prayer request mentioned Dear Lord Jesus, this is good. But just to clarify and emphasize, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that anybody has access to God the Father and it is only through Jesus that anybody can be saved. This is expressed well in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
