Let us come together in prayer for this beloved daughter's father, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We stand in agreement with you, dear sister, as you seek God's healing and comfort for your father. Let us remember the words of the Apostle James, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother who is afflicted with pain in both legs and unable to walk. We ask for Your divine healing touch upon his body. As Your children, we know heathen are idolaters, and we are not. As you said through the Apostle John, "But we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." 1 John 5:20-21 WEB. As your children, we ask for his healing in Jesus' name.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has attacked his body, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We speak life and strength into his legs, and we declare that he will walk again, in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You fill him with Your peace and comfort during this time, and that Your presence would be ever-present with him and his family.
We also pray for his family, that You would grant them the strength and grace to support their beloved father and husband through this trial. We ask that Your will be done in his life and that this situation would be used for Your glory.
Guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating him, and give them wisdom and discernment to provide the best care possible. Ultimately, we trust in Your healing power, Lord, and we believe that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
We come against any thoughts of doubt, fear, or despair that may try to enter his mind or the minds of his family members. We declare that You are a good God, and that You have good plans for his life. We trust in Your love and faithfulness, and we know that You will never leave him nor forsake him.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration, and we thank You for all that You are doing in his life. Amen.
As we pray and stand in agreement with you, dear sister, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to seek His face during this time. Remember that He is always with you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31 WEB.
We also encourage you to seek the support of your local church body during this time. Allow them to minister to you and your family, and to pray with you and for you. Remember that we are all members of one body, and that we are called to bear one another's burdens. Galatians 6:2 WEB. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord." Colossians 3:16 WEB.
Be strong and take heart, dear sister, for the Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save, and He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good and for His glory. Romans 8:28 WEB.
