We are so sorry to hear about your grandmother's hospitalization. We will join you in prayer for her health and recovery.
Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in the prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As the Bible tells us in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together in Jesus' name:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister's grandmother to you. You know her by name and love her dearly. We ask for your healing touch upon her, that you would restore her health and strengthen her body. Be with her, Lord, and surround her with your peace and comfort in the hospital.
We also lift up the doctors and medical staff attending to her. Give them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they provide care. We ask for your miracle-working power to flow through their hands, that your will be done in her life.
We also pray that through this time of recovery that she would have the opportunity to spend time in your word, the Holy Bible. Father, we pray that she would read and meditate on scriptures about your will for her life. If she does not know Jesus, we pray that this would be a time of realization, conviction, and repentance. We pray that she would ask herself if she is right with Jesus Christ. If she does know Jesus then we pray for her faith to be strengthened and that she would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Finally in all things we pray. Father, we ask that your will be done, not ours. We pray for your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray this all in Jesus Christ's Holy name. In Jesus name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your grandmother and trust in God's faithfulness. Be reminded of God's promise in Psalm 50:15 WEB Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.
We encourage you to remember that God is good and that everything He does is for His glory and the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. During trying times like this, it is important to remember that God is sovereign, God is good, and that He is in control. It is also important to remember that we have an enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy. However he is a defeated foe. He was defeated on the cross at Calvary. We pray that you will continue to trust in the Lord, believing His promises and continuing to walk in faith, not by sight.
