We are glad to join you in prayer for trusting the Lord in matters of marriage, finances, and good health. Let's first address the importance of trusting in the Lord in all areas of our lives.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you're seeking God's will for a future spouse. We pray that you will find a godly spouse that aligns with biblical principles. Remember, "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies" (Proverbs 31:10, WEB). Be sure that any courtship or relationship is with another Christian with the goal toward marriage. Be sure to avoid fornication and lust because God wants Christians to be pure before marriage. "It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife." (1 Corinthians 5:1).
For finances, trust that God will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory. Remember, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33, WEB). "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." (Romans 13:8, WEB). Be sure that live within your means and avoid debt. Also, be a cheerful giver. "Let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches." (Galatians 6:6, WEB).
When it comes to health, trust that God is your healer and provider. Prayerfully seek His wisdom for your health, but know that sometimes an illness is for His glory. "He said, 'Lord, I believe.' He worshiped him." (John 9:38, WEB).
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved brother or sister in Christ. We pray for their future spouse, that You will guide them to a godly marriage that honors You. We pray for their finances, that You will provide for all their needs and give them wisdom to manage their resources well. We pray for their health, that You will heal and strengthen them according to Your will. Help them to glorify You in all circumstances.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5) and "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Lastly, always test everything and hold to what is good. Avoid every kind of evil and lust and impurity. "But examine all things. Hold firmly to what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21, WEB).
