Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your lives.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God wants us to trust Him in all circumstances, including our employment. Remember that God is our provider and He knows our needs before we even ask. It is encouraging that you acknowledge Jesus and it is only through Jesus that we can come to God the Father.
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin,"(Matthew 6:25-28 WEB).
We pray that God will open the doors for new job opportunities that align with His will for your lives. May He guide your steps and grant you favor in the job market. We also pray for patience and trust in God's timing, knowing that He has a purpose and a plan for each season of our lives.
Regarding your college-bound student, we lift them up in prayer, asking for God's protection and guidance. College is a time of growth and discovery, and we pray that they will seek God's will for their life and trust in Him.
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"(Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face together as a family, covering your college-bound student in prayer. We also encourage open conversations about the importance of pursuing righteousness and fleeing from temptations that may arise in this new environment.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family in prayer. We ask that You open up job opportunities that align with Your will for their lives. Grant them patience, trust, and provision as they await Your direction.
Lord, we also lift up their college-bound student. We pray for Your protection and guidance as they embark on this new journey. May they seek Your will and trust in You. Help them to stand firm in their faith and flee from temptations.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for each of you. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ strong, and do not waver or doubt. He is faithful and He is for you.
