We rejoice with you as you lifting up your voice in praise to our heavenly Father and His beloved Son Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see your heart overflowing with worship as you declare "Thank You Father," "Thank You Jesus" and exclaim "Praise God" and "Hallelujah" and "Glory to God." The Psalmist says, "Let everything that has breath praise Yahweh. Praise Yah!" (WEB, Ps. 150:6).
Scripture encourages us to give thanks and praise in all circumstances, and to pray continuously.
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (WEB, 1 Thes. 5:16-18).
You have also lifted up your voice to ask that God's will be done. This reminds us of how Jesus Christ prayed to His Father in the garden of Gethsemane.
"saying, 'Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done'" (WEB, Luke 22:42).
Yes, we always want to ask God to have His will be done. Jesus said "not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (WEB, Matt. 7:21).
Yes, may God's will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.
Let us pray together.
Father, we come before You, lifting up our voices with this prayer request, giving You thanks and praise. We praise You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. We bless the holy name of Jesus. We are grateful that You hear our prayers and that Your will is perfect. We pray that Your will be done, in everything we ask. We ask this in the blessed name of Jesus Christ, our savior and our Lord. Amen.
