We understand that you are facing a challenging situation, feeling humiliated and desperate for a loved one who has been unemployed for two years. Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. It is so important to come before the God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ, as there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Let us address the situation and pray together.
In the Bible, we are encouraged to be diligent and to work with our hands, "Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have something to give to him who needs." Ephesians 4:28 WEB. We are also reminded that, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.'" 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB.
However, we must also remember that God is our provider, and He cares for us, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" Matthew 6:25-26 WEB.
With these principles in mind, let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this loved one's life. We pray that You would open up the right opportunities for work and provide a job that not only meets financial needs but also aligns with Your will. We do not know why he is still waiting, but we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom because You are never late or early but always on time.
Lord, we also pray for comfort and encouragement during this waiting period. Help him to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in Your provision. We pray to You to search his heart and that if there is anything hindering Your work in his life, it will be revealed and dealt with in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray for the one who has submitted this request, asking that You fill them with Your peace and reassurance. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them and their loved ones.
God, we ask that Your will be done in this situation and that You be glorified in all things. We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
While waiting for God's provision, encourage your loved one to be proactive in seeking work, to trust in God's timing, and to rest in the knowledge that God is faithful.
