Let us bring your requests to God together, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. We are reminded in His Word, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice." Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:4-7 WEB.
Firstly, we pray for a good day for you, that God's joy and peace will fill your heart. That you will walk through this day with His wisdom and guidance, experiencing His goodness in every situation. We ask that God's favor will shine upon you, granting you a day filled with His blessings.
Regarding marriage, we pray that God will prepare you for a godly spouse, that He will mold you into the man or woman He desires you to be. If it is God's will and you are not married yet, we pray for godly courtship that would lead to a beautiful marriage that honors the Lord. Know this that whomever does not provide for their own, especially for those of their own house, have denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Moreover, they become one flesh in marriage. Be loyal one to another. 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB. If you are already married, we pray for a strengthening of your marriage, for a deepening love and commitment between you and your spouse. That God will be at the center of your marriage, guiding and sustaining you both. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB.
For your family, we pray for their salvation, that each member will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. If you did not mention Jesus or His name, we encourage you to come to our Lord Jesus Christ. All of salvation and all of our prayers are based on His name being invoked to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. We also pray for unity, love, and peace within your family. That God will work in each family member's heart, drawing them closer to Him and to each other. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. You fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:1-4 WEB.
Lastly, we pray for God's guidance and provision in your job. That He will give you wisdom and skill, that you will find favor with both God and man. Remember to be honest and to work as unto the Lord. Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked. For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps, 1 Peter 2:18-21 WEB.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in His love and faithfulness.
