We understand that you are feeling nervous after your job interview, and we are here to support you in prayer. First, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including your job search. As believers, we are called to trust in Him and His plan for our lives. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Remember also that we are to ask for what we have need of in the name of Jesus Christ. For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God hath apportioned to each man a measure of faith (Romans 3:3). For in Him we live, and move, and exist (Acts 17:28).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their employment. We ask, Lord, that You guide the decision-making process of the interviewers and that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will that our brother/sister be offered this job please Lord make it happen. If not, we trust that You have a better plan. Help them to trust in You and Your plan, and to rest in the knowledge that You are always working for their good. Give them peace and patience as they await the outcome.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. For it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is no other name given under heaven and earth for salvation to us Jews and Greeks (Acts 4:12). Please Lord, if our brother or sister has not already accepted Jesus Christ and confessed Him as your son and our Lord and Savior, please open their heart and give them the gift of faith. Give them the power of the holy spirit and adopt them into your family as a true Christian believer.
Thank you loving Father for always hearing our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is in control. Continue to seek His will and trust in His timing. "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. " Philippians 4:6 WEB.
We will continue to pray for God's will to be done in your life. Keep us updated on your job search so we can support you along the way.
