Prayer for a selfish spirit.

Wisdom to change.

Feeling depressed after taking myself off an anti-depressant.

Bawling and crying. Depressed because I feel like my marriage is over.

My husband will not go to counseling. This is my fault. He is a good Christian man. Feeling guilty and hopeless - like God has rejected me. I think he has someone better out there for my husband. I am afraid to go through the divorce process. If I were not a Christian, I would choose to end my life. I can not do this because I am a Christian.

Jesus, please touch Jill now. Make her aware of Your presence, Lord. Let her know that You love her. Lift the despair and give her hope. Please send help into her situation or give her the strength to reach out to those who can help her. Remind her of who she is in You. Let her know that she is loved by You and all those who belong to You. My heart breaks for her and all the right words don't come, but You know all. Please help, Jesus. Loose Your Spirit in her life. In the strong name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Loving God: We lift up to you Jill who is experiencing a dark night of the soul. You see how lost she is in this situation and how much guidance she needs and so we seek that from you. Where there is injury, please sow pardon, where there is hate, love where there is discord, peace, where there is trauma, delight, where there is despair, hope, where there is loss, newness according to your great mercies. We know the plans you have for her life. We know that you can make all things new in you. We know that you can work through the doctors to help her get the medications she needs. Please hold her in your loving arms and keep her safe tonight. We know that you have caught each of her tears and that you will never let her go. We ask that you help her with her marriage knowing that you are the God of infinite possibilities and with you there is always hope. In Jesus name, Amen.

I ask for complete restoration of this marriage because I believe it is your will. Father I ask also that Jill is comforted by and is lifted by your divine presence in her life.
