We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request with both urgency and deep concern. Father God, Your Word is clear that You created humanity in Your image—male and female You created them (Genesis 1:27). The confusion of gender, the rejection of the body You fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and the embrace of identities contrary to Your design grieve Your heart. We stand on the truth that Your creation is good, and any distortion of it is a result of sin entering the world. We rebuke the spirit of deception that leads people to believe they can alter the gender You assigned at conception, and we pray for Your light to pierce the darkness of this ideology.
Lord Jesus, we know that salvation comes only through You—there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up the people of this nation, asking that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully to convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). We pray for a great awakening, that those who have been deceived by false teachings and cultural lies would turn to You in repentance. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth, and draw them into a personal relationship with You. May they come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ, where they are no longer slaves to sin but set free to live as the men and women You created them to be (John 8:36).
We also address the request for conversion from Buddhism to Christianity. While we rejoice in the thought of souls coming to know You, we must be clear: salvation is not about converting a nation to a religion, but about individuals surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. A nation does not save—only Jesus does. We pray that the people of this land would hear the Gospel, believe in their hearts, and confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9). May churches rise up to preach the truth in love, and may believers be bold in sharing the hope of Christ with those who do not yet know Him.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of idolatry that has taken hold in this nation. Buddhism, like all false religions, leads people away from the one true God. We pray that the idols of this land would be torn down and that the people would turn from worthless things to the living God (1 Thessalonians 1:9). We ask that You would raise up laborers for the harvest—men and women who will faithfully proclaim the Gospel and make disciples (Matthew 9:38). May Your Word go forth with power, and may many come to repentance and faith in You.
We also lift up those who are struggling with gender confusion. We pray for Your healing and restoration in their lives. Your Word tells us that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We ask that You would break the chains of deception and set them free to embrace the identity You have given them. Surround them with believers who will speak truth in love, disciple them, and walk with them on their journey to wholeness in Christ.
Lord, we know that the battle we face is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word—and we stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We declare that this nation belongs to You, and we pray for a revival that would shake the foundations of this land. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You, the only name by which we are saved. May Your glory fill this nation, and may Your people be bold in proclaiming the truth of Your Word. Amen.
