Prayer request: Please pray for me. I saw the doctor yesterday regarding my stomach; I have been having terrible pain & acid reflux for months. Blood tests that have already been done have shown abnormal liver enzyme levels. The doctor I saw yesterday wants to do an ultrasound of my stomach to to look at my liver plus a colonoscopy & an endoscopy examine my colon & stomach. I'm very afraid of what might be wrong.
I also suffer from depression & a disease called interstitial cystitis. Both issues also flare up quite often & make it hard for me to get through each day at times. I have suffered from these two problems since I was in my late teens.
My family is also facing some very serious financial issues. I was laid off in 2008 from my job of 12 years & have not been able to find another job since. I want into business for myself as a pet sitter but business has been slow up until last month. Praise God for that! We have many bills overdue & I'
m afraid that I will never be free of debt again. I worry about our future, our ability to keep our house. We need to find the money to buy a new furnace before winter. I worry about my husband who is working 12 hours a day, usually six days a week, in order to meet our basic needs.
I'm so afraid! I pray all the time to God Almighty to heal me of my illness & depression! I am trying very hard to hold myself together & I beg God to help me. Show me the way Your want me to walk, Lord. Forgive me for my sins, God. I am begging You for Your divine help, healing, & forgiveness.
I ask you, Lord God, to help my family with our finances. I do not want to be rich, I do not want us to be able to buy lots of material goods. I just want us to be able to pay our bills without my husband having to work himself to death. I want to be able to find a job or to get more business so that I can help our family financially. God, I know that true happiness cannot be found in material things & I'm not asking for an abundance of material goods. I just want us to be able to fix the roof of our house, fix our garage, get a new furnace, & to be able to pay our bills. Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus I beg You to help me & my family. Please fill all of us with Your healing grace & power! Guide us in our daily lives so that we live life in a way that brings us closer to You. I ask You, O Mighty God, to have mercy on my husband, my step-daughters, & myself. We need you, Lord. Please help us.
