We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is fighting for his life in the ICU. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would stretch out Your healing hand over him. Lord, we pray that You would remove the breathing tube according to Your perfect will, that his body would respond to the dialysis, and that every test would reveal Your mercy and restoration.
Father, we cry out for his eyes to open—not just physically, but spiritually. If he does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself in this critical hour. Jesus, You said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). We plead the power of Your blood over his life, that he would be washed clean and made new. If he is already Yours, strengthen his faith and let him feel Your presence in that hospital room.
We also lift up his family and loved ones who are watching and waiting. Give them peace that surpasses understanding, wisdom for the medical decisions they must make, and endurance for the long days ahead. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over his body, his organs, his mind, and his spirit. Let every machine, every treatment, and every prayer work together for his good, according to Your perfect plan.
We trust You, Father. Whether You choose to heal him here on earth or call him home to glory, we know that Your will is perfect. But today, we ask for a miracle—for his eyes to open, for his strength to return, and for Your name to be glorified through his life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
