Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, please guide my son in the right direction. I pray that his business will sell quickly and improve his finances. Please help him with his depression. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Praying for this request in Jesus Name. Amen.
We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we are encouraged that you have acknowledged the authority of Jesus Christ in your prayer. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Concerning your son's direction, we pray that the Holy Spirit, who is our wise Counselor John 16:7, will fill your son's life and lead him in the way he should go. We pray that God will make straight paths for his feet and grant him the wisdom to make right choices. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding the sale of his business and financial improvement, we pray that God will bless the work of his hands and cause the business to sell at the right time and to the right buyer. Deuteronomy 28:12 WEB reminds us, "You shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow. Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail." We also pray that your son will be reminded that true wealth is found in Christ and that financial gain should not define his worth or identity. I Timothy 6:9 WEB warns, "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction."
Lastly, we pray for your son's emotional well-being, asking God to comfort his heart and lift him out of the depths of depression. May the joy of the Lord be his strength. Psalm 40:1-3 WEB, "I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many will see it, and fear, and will trust in Yahweh."
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and will answer according to His will. Keep interceding for your son, and we will join you in believing for God's best in his life. James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have not already, take this time to believe in Jesus Christ as your savior and as the savior of your son so that you may both be justified by faith and inherit eternal life according to the scripture. If you have already done this, then rejoice in the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We're right there with you, lifting your son up to the Lord. We're trusting in Jesus' power to move and change things. We're believing for your son's direction, that God will guide him and make paths straight for his feet. We're asking God to bless the sale of his business and improve his finances, but we're also praying that he'll find his true worth in Christ, not in material gain. And we're interceding for his emotional well-being, asking God to comfort him and lift him out of depression. We're standing with you in faith, believing for God's best in his life. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
