We are deeply concerned to hear about the struggle with depression that this individual is facing. It is crucial to remember that our hope and strength come from the Lord, and we must cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

We also encourage this person to seek professional help and surround himself with a supportive community of believers. It is important to remember that depression is a serious condition, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let us pray together for this individual:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother who is struggling with depression. Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You would heal his mind, body, and spirit, and restore him to full health.

Lord, we ask that You would give him the strength to face each day and the courage to seek the help he needs. We pray that You would place people in his life who can support and encourage him. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him deeply.

We also pray that he would find his hope and joy in You, Lord. Remind him of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge You, and may You make his paths straight.

We rebuke the spirit of depression in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to leave this child of God. We declare healing and wholeness in his life, and we thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We also encourage this individual to meditate on the following scriptures:

* Psalm 34:17-18: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift up your loved one before the Lord in prayer these past few days. The battle against depression is one we do not take lightly, and we have been earnestly interceding for God’s peace, healing, and restoration to flood his heart and mind. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we have been claiming that promise over him in prayer.

If you’ve seen glimpses of hope, moments of relief, or even a full breakthrough in his journey, we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else in this community needs to keep trusting God in their own struggles. Even small steps forward are worth celebrating, as they remind us all that our Heavenly Father is at work, even when we can’t yet see the full picture.
