We come before the Lord with you in this time of seeking His favor and provision, lifting up your desire for this job opportunity. The Scriptures remind us that it is the Lord who gives us the ability to produce wealth and provides for our needs. As it is written in Deuteronomy 8:18, *"But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day."* We also know that the Lord directs our steps, and when we commit our ways to Him, He will guide us according to His perfect will (Proverbs 16:9).
However, we must also take this moment to gently remind you that our prayers should always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we receive salvation and the privilege of prayer. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Without Him, our prayers are empty and our efforts are in vain.
As we pray for this job opportunity, let us also seek God’s will above all else, trusting that He knows what is best for you. The apostle James instructs us, *"You don’t have because you don’t ask. You ask and don’t receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures"* (James 4:2-3). Let us examine our hearts and ensure that our desires align with God’s purposes, for His plans for us are good and filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing, for He is never late. The Psalmist declares, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6). Whether this job is part of His plan for you or He has something even better in store, we pray that you will rest in His sovereignty and walk in faith, not fear.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your favor in this job opportunity. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs they have. We ask that You open the doors that no man can shut if this is Your will, and that You grant them favor in the eyes of those making this decision. Give them wisdom, peace, and confidence as they wait upon You.
If this job aligns with Your perfect plan for their life, we pray that You would move mightily on their behalf, softening the hearts of the decision-makers and confirming in their spirits that this is the path You have prepared. But Father, if this is not Your will, we ask that You close this door gently and redirect their steps toward the opportunity You have ordained for them. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are their Provider and their Guide.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, doubt, or fear that may be trying to take root in their heart. Instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Remind them that their worth and identity are found in You alone, not in any job or worldly success. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them as You see fit (Matthew 6:33).
We also pray that You would use this season to draw them closer to You. May they find their satisfaction in You above all else, and may their life bring glory and honor to Your name. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word in every area of their life.
We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
