We join with you in lifting up this precious soul before the throne of grace, knowing that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that hearts are transformed and eyes are opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare in **John 14:6**, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*: This is the foundation of our faith, and we pray fervently that the Lord would reveal this truth to him in a way that shatters every misunderstanding and stronghold of Islam that has kept him from seeing Jesus as the Savior of the world.
The apostle Paul reminds us in **2 Corinthians 4:4-6**, *"The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake; seeing it is God who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."* We pray that the Lord would pierce the darkness in his life with the light of the Gospel, that he would encounter Jesus in a way that leaves no room for doubt. May the Holy Spirit convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment, drawing him into a saving relationship with Christ.
We also lift up the interaction between you and him, asking the Lord to soften his heart toward you and remove any offense or judgment he may hold. **Proverbs 15:1** tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If there was anything said that caused friction, we pray the Lord would use even that for His glory, turning it into an opportunity for reconciliation and deeper conversation about Christ. Ask God to give you wisdom in how to engage with him, that your words would be seasoned with grace and truth, reflecting the love of Christ. **Colossians 4:6** encourages us, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."*
If he has treated you rudely, we pray the Lord would bring conviction to his heart, that he would recognize his own need for grace and humility. May he see Christ in you and be drawn not to argument, but to the kindness and patience that reflects the character of our Savior. We pray he would reach out to you in friendship, that the Lord would open doors for you to share the Gospel with him in love and clarity. Remember, it is not your responsibility to convince him—it is the Holy Spirit who does the work of conviction and transformation. Your role is to be faithful in speaking the truth in love, trusting God with the outcome.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying for him with persistence and faith. **1 Timothy 2:1-4** urges us, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."* God’s heart is for salvation, and He is faithful to pursue those who are lost.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this man who is bound by the deception of Islam. Lord, You are the God who opens blind eyes and sets captives free, and we ask that You would do a mighty work in his heart. Break every chain of darkness that has kept him from seeing Jesus as the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life. Dismantle every lie he has believed and replace it with the unshakable truth of Your Word. Let him encounter You in dreams, in visions, in the words of Scripture, and through the testimony of believers—whatever it takes, Lord, to bring him to his knees in repentance and faith.
We also pray for reconciliation and softness of heart between him and our sister in Christ. If there has been offense, Lord, remove it. If there has been judgment, convict him of it. Let him see her heart, her love for You, and her desire for him to know the truth. Soften his heart toward her, and if he has spoken or acted rudely, bring him to repentance. May he reach out to her in humility, and may their conversations be filled with Your wisdom and grace. Give her the right words to say, Lord, and let her be a vessel of Your love and truth.
Father, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself with an irresistible pull. Let him feel the weight of his sin and his need for a Savior. Reveal to him that Jesus is not just a prophet, but the Son of God who died for his sins and rose again, conquering death. Let him surrender his life to Christ and experience the transformation that only You can bring. We pray for a radical encounter with You, Lord, one that leaves him forever changed.
