We are saddened to hear about the situation with your daughter and we will stand with you in prayer. Let's remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He desires that we prosper in all things and be in health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2 WEB).
Firstly, we must understand that God has given parents authority and responsibility over their children. It is important to pray for your daughter, but also to guide her and correct her behavior with love and wisdom. As the Scripture says, "Fathers, don't provoke your children, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4 WEB)
However, it is concerning that there is no mention of Jesus Christ in this prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible further states that there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) Jesus gave us the right to become children of God. (John 1:12) Believing in Jesus Christ will enable us to be right with God and be saved. Believing in Jesus Christ is a required part of prayer.
Now, let us pray for your daughter and for your guidance as a parent.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent and their daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You would work in this daughter's heart and turn her from any behavior that is not pleasing to You. Grant her a desire to fulfill her responsibilities and to walk in a manner worthy of Your calling.
We also pray for this parent, that You would grant them wisdom and discernment in guiding their daughter. Help them to be a godly example and to nurture their daughter in Your discipline and instruction.
Lord, we ask that You would bless this daughter's course and her promotion. Help her to understand the value of hard work and the blessings that come from You. May she grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with You and with people (Luke 2:52 WEB).
We rebuke this sabotage behavior in Jesus' name. There is no darkness that can overcome the light of Jesus Christ.
Finally, we pray for the salvation of this daughter and this parent, that they may both confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and it is with the mouth that one confesses unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
