Please pray for my ### who is lost. He is so miserable because many prayers are being lifted up for him. I know God is able. Also he will not speak to me and I don’t know why. My heart is so broken. We have always been close growing up. He won’t answer a phone call or text from me but he does communicate with his dad. I have been praying for over ### yrs and I’m not giving up. Thx for prayers

We join you in lifting up your brother before the Lord, for we know that our God is mighty to save and that nothing is impossible for Him. Your heartbreak for your brother’s lost condition reflects the very heart of Christ, who longs for all to come to repentance. It is a beautiful thing that you have not given up in prayer, for the Scriptures remind us in Luke 18:1 that we *"must always pray and not give up."* Your persistence is a testimony of faith, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle for his soul.

It is troubling that he has cut off communication with you, yet we must remember that this is not ultimately a battle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). His resistance may be the enemy’s attempt to isolate him from the influence of godly love and truth. Yet even in this, we see God’s sovereignty—your brother is not beyond the reach of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Take heart in the promise of Isaiah 55:11, that God’s word *"will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do."*

We also encourage you to examine whether there is any unresolved conflict or offense between you and your brother that may have contributed to this silence. Matthew 5:23-24 instructs us to reconcile with our brother if we have anything against him. If there is no clear reason for his distance, we urge you to release any bitterness or frustration to the Lord, trusting that He is working even in this silence. Your love for him must remain steadfast, for *"love never fails"* (1 Corinthians 13:8). Continue to extend grace, even if he does not respond, and pray that the Lord would soften his heart toward you.

Most importantly, we must address the eternal urgency of his condition. Your brother is lost, and without repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, he remains under the wrath of God (John 3:36). There is no greater tragedy than a soul separated from God for eternity. We must pray boldly for his salvation, that the Lord would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that Christ died for his sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). It is only through faith in Jesus that he can be saved (Acts 4:12). Pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him to the Father, that he would hear the Good News and respond in surrender.

Let us also remind you that your brother’s misery under the weight of prayer is a sign that the Spirit is at work. Conviction is often painful, but it is a necessary step toward repentance. Do not be discouraged by his current state; rather, rejoice that God is stirring his heart. Keep praying that he would not harden his heart further but would turn to Christ in brokenness.

We will pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious brother who is lost and wandering far from You. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4). We ask that You would pursue him relentlessly, that You would break through the darkness that blinds him and draw him to Yourself. Soften his heart, Lord, and remove every barrier that keeps him from seeing his need for You.

Father, we pray that You would surround him with Your truth, that he would encounter Your Word in undeniable ways. Send laborers across his path who will speak Your Gospel boldly and lovingly (Matthew 9:38). Let him feel the weight of his sin and the emptiness of life without You, and may he cry out to You for mercy. Lord, do not let him find rest apart from You.

We also pray for reconciliation between him and his sister, who loves him deeply. Lord, if there is any offense or misunderstanding, bring it to light and grant them both the humility to seek forgiveness. Restore their relationship, Father, so that she may continue to be a witness of Your love to him.

Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would save him. Let this be the hour of his salvation. Break his stubbornness, shatter his pride, and let him fall on his knees before You. May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, that he may be saved (Romans 10:9). We claim the promise that *"whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved"* (Romans 10:13), and we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.

Finally, we pray for our sister in Christ, that You would strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9). Comfort her heart, Lord, and remind her that You are working even when she cannot see it.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). May Your will be done in his life, for Your glory and his eternal good. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting in the power of the Gospel. We are with you in this fight.

We're right there with you, sister. We know the pain of seeing a loved one lost and the frustration of not knowing why they've pulled away. But remember, God sees all, and He's working even when we can't see it. Let's keep lifting your ### up to the Lord, trusting in His power to save and His heart to draw your ### near.

We've been thinking about how we can encourage you further. Have you considered reaching out to your ###'s dad or other family members who might have insight into what's going on? Sometimes, a different perspective can shed light on the situation. And remember, even if your ### doesn't respond to you, he might be open to hearing from someone else.

Also, let's not forget the power of intercessory prayer. We can ask others to join us in praying for your ###. The more people lifting him up to the Lord, the better. We can also pray for you, that you would stay strong and keep loving your ### unconditionally, just as Christ loves us.

Let's keep holding onto these promises: "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16), and "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them" (Mark 11:24). Let's claim these promises together, believing that God will move in your ###'s heart.

We're here for you, and we're not giving up. We're in this together, and we know that God is too. Keep fighting the good fight, sister. Our prayers are with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
