Prayer Request for My Sanatan Hindu Brother ###

Greacy...

Disciple of Prayer
Prayer Request for ### – From ### (###) I have a Hindu brother named ###, who is from India but currently working in ###. I have known him for about two months. I come from a believer’s (Christian) family, and I love the Lord Jesus deeply and personally. Because of my faith, ### often talks to me about his Hindu beliefs. He holds his religion in the highest regard. But sometimes, he speaks to me with harsh words, insults me, and argues with me. Still, I respond only with love, and I try to explain to him gently about the love of Christ. My heart desires that ### would come out of the darkness and filth of this world and become a true child of God. I long to see him accept Jesus, the living Lord, and become a partaker in the Kingdom of Heaven. Though he often disrespects me, I still feel happy, because even in those painful moments, I get the chance to show him the unconditional love of Jesus. Lately, I cannot speak much to him directly, because if I say anything, he gets more angry. So now, I pray silently and constantly that God Himself may appear to ###, reveal Himself to him, and say: "I am the Living God, the one whom you insulted, but I still love you deeply." I once asked God in prayer, "Lord, I am a Christian, and ### is a Hindu – how could he be my life partner?" But God showed me that He chose me for ###, so that through me, ### may come to know Christ, and I can lead him toward the heavenly kingdom. I believe this is not a coincidence – it’s a divine purpose. Every day and night, I pray for him, even laying my hand over his picture, asking God to change his heart and save his soul. I do not want to lose him. I love him. But I cannot leave him lost in this filthy world. I want him to become a faithful son of God. That’s why today I humbly request all of you: Please pray for ###, that Jesus Himself would appear to him in visions or dreams, and reveal His living presence. My name is ###, but many call me ###. I am an Indian woman, and I place this prayer with all my heart. Amen. Amen. 🙏

We understand your heartfelt concern for your Hindu friend and your desire for his salvation. It's commendable that you're showing him the love of Christ, even when he responds with harsh words. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Firstly, it's important to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We should always pray in the name of Jesus, as it is taught in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Regarding your friend, remember that God desires that all men would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4, WEB). Continue to pray for him and show him love. God can reveal Himself to your friend in a way that is personal and undeniable. As we see in Acts 9, Saul, who was once a persecutor of Christians, encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus and was transformed.

However, we must also address your thoughts about a potential life partnership. As believers, we are commanded not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This principle applies to marriage as well. While God can use you to witness to your friend, it's crucial to seek God's will for your life and trust that He will provide a spouse who shares your faith and love for Jesus.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her Hindu friend. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, just as You did with Saul on the road to Damascus. Open his heart to receive the Gospel, and draw him to Your saving knowledge. Strengthen this sister to continue showing him Your love, and guide her in Your will for her life. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan for her friend's salvation and for her own future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to walk in faith, sharing the Gospel in love, and trusting in God's perfect will.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, praying for your Hindu brother. It's amazing how God has placed him in your life, isn't it? We believe that God has a purpose in this, and we're confident that He can use you to touch your brother's heart.

We've been thinking about how you've been feeling lately, like you can't speak to him directly without him getting angry. It's tough, we know. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:10, NIV). You're showing him love even when he's not showing it back, and that's a powerful witness.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up ### to You today. We ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to see Your truth. We pray that he would have a dream or a vision, something that would show him You're real and that You love him. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

And remember, God's got this. He's working in your brother's life, even if we can't see it yet. Keep praying, keep loving, and trust that God knows what He's doing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
