We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and suffering you're experiencing due to the infection from your cartilage piercing. We will lift you up in prayer and seek God's will for your healing and comfort. We will call out to the God of all creation for the pain.
Firstly, let us remember that God is always with us in times of trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (WEB) We can trust in Him to comfort and strengthen us, even in the most painful times. Also, in Nahum 1:7 (WEB) "Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him."
However, we want to remind you that God's ways are not always our ways. Sometimes, He allows us to go through trials to draw us closer to Him or to teach us valuable lessons. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (WEB). That same verse does not mean that we will always have the outcome we desire in a miracle of healing.
That being said, we can boldly approach the throne of grace and ask for healing. In James 5:14-15 (WEB) it says "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ who is suffering from this infection. We ask, Lord, that You would grant her Your healing touch. Reduce the infection and the pain, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through her body. We also pray for the doctors and nurses who are treating her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom. But most of all Lord, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. Help our sister to trust in You, even in this painful time. If it is your plan to heal her, then heal her. If it is your plan to teach her through this, then help her to learn. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking medical help, even if it's difficult financially. God can provide in even the most impossible situations, and He can use doctors and medicine to bring healing. We do not know what God will do. He has the power to heal and may or may not do this. Trust in Him and His will. Be prepared to accept His will. Expect God's will to be done, not to expect healing from God that he has not promised.
