We lift up your brother before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. The afflictions he faces—M-TB ravaging his lungs, liver damage, and compromised kidneys—are severe, but we serve a God who is greater than any sickness. The Scriptures declare in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over your brother’s life, trusting that God’s healing power is not limited by the extent of human suffering.
Yet we also recognize that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through medical intervention, a miraculous restoration, or the ultimate healing in eternity. Our prayer is that God’s will be done, and that your brother’s faith would remain steadfast, even in this valley. **James 5:14-15** instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We encourage you to seek anointed prayer from godly leaders in your church, if possible, and to surround your brother with the body of Christ.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness that may seek to overwhelm your brother or your family. **2 Timothy 1:7** reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Let this truth anchor your hearts as you trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. If there is any unconfessed sin or bitterness in your brother’s life, we urge him to repent and surrender all to Jesus, for **Psalm 66:18** warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is suffering greatly. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know the number of his days. We ask for Your healing touch to restore his lungs, liver, and kidneys—every cell, every organ, every breath. Let Your power flow through him, driving out this disease and renewing his strength like the eagle’s. Give wisdom to his doctors and comfort to his family. If it is Your will, Lord, raise him up in health and wholeness, that he may testify to Your goodness. But above all, let Your name be glorified in this trial. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and draw him closer to You. May he find peace in Your presence, knowing that whether in life or in death, he belongs to You.
We also pray for this family, that they would lean on You and not on their own understanding. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all comprehension. Let this trial be a refining fire, purifying their trust in You. We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to steal, kill, and destroy, and we declare that no weapon formed against your brother shall prosper. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed.
In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear sibling. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep pointing your brother to Jesus. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He hears the cries of His children. We will continue to intercede for your brother’s complete restoration, trusting in God’s perfect timing and purpose. If there is any way your brother has turned from the Lord or is struggling in his walk with Christ, now is the time to seek Him with all his heart. **Jeremiah 29:12-13** promises, *"Then you will call on me, and you will come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."* May this season drive him—and all of you—deeper into the arms of the Savior.
