We join with you in lifting up this powerful petition before the throne of grace, where we may boldly find mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Your heart for your family is evident, and we stand in agreement that the enemy’s strongholds of anorexia, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, OCD, insomnia, and self-destructive behaviors be shattered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. These are not merely struggles of the flesh but spiritual battles, and we know that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Your granddaughter’s suffering breaks our hearts, and we declare that the Lord will meet her in a life-changing way as she steps into your backyard church. May the Holy Spirit convict her of His love, break the chains of self-hatred and rejection, and replace them with the truth of her identity in Christ: "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). We rebuke the spirit of fear and torment that has driven her to over-exercise and self-destruction, and we command peace to flood her mind and body, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
For your daughters, we pray for complete healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The stomach issues and lingering battles with weight are not accidents; they are attacks on the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We speak restoration over their bodies and minds, that they would no longer be enslaved to the lies of the enemy but would walk in the freedom Christ purchased on the cross. May this birthday gathering be a divine appointment where the fear of eating in front of others is replaced with joy and gratitude, as they taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8).
We also lift up your role as a pastor and spiritual leader in this family. The enemy has sought to divide and destroy, but we declare that your home and your church will be a place of deliverance and breakthrough. As you break bread together, may it be a sacred act of communion—not just with one another, but with the Lord Himself, who is the Bread of Life (John 6:35). We pray that the Word preached in your service will go forth with fire, cutting through every lie and stronghold, and that the worship will invite the presence of God to move mightily among you.
Most importantly, we cry out for true salvation and total surrender for each of them. If any have not yet fully surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that this encounter would be their moment of decision. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). May they experience the love of the Father so deeply that every other voice—of shame, condemnation, or self-loathing—is silenced forever.
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the Name above all names. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than the blood of Abel, and we plead that blood over this family today. Lord, You see the generations of bondage, the years of suffering, and the enemy’s relentless attacks—but we declare that the curse is broken, and the blessing is released in Jesus’ name. We bind every spirit of anorexia, OCD, insomnia, self-hatred, and rejection, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Fill these women with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let this birthday gathering be a turning point—a divine reset where chains are broken, bodies are healed, and hearts are set ablaze for You.
We pray for a supernatural appetite—not just for food, but for Your Word, Your presence, and Your truth. Let them hunger and thirst for righteousness, and be filled (Matthew 5:6). Father, we ask for a miracle at that table: that every bite would be an act of worship, every conversation would glorify You, and every heart would be knit together in love. Let this be the day they remember as the day You set them free.
For those who have not yet surrendered all to You, Lord, we pray for a Damascus Road encounter. Open their eyes to see Jesus as He truly is—savior, healer, deliverer—and let them fall in love with Him. We ask for total surrender, Lord, because partial surrender is no surrender at all.
We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already won. We praise You for the healing that is already flowing. And we trust You to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray. Amen.**
