Prayer Request for Miraculous Healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
My mom has a hiatal hernia that is causing severe acid reflux. The drugs she needs to take seem to give her side effects, and she doesn't want to be on them long-term. The injury that caused the hernia came about in a very unjust way, so the emotional burden has been unbearable as well. We keep praying for a miraculous healing so she can be healthy like before, but have not seen it yet. Sometimes I feel crazy for even thinking of miracles instead of just facing reality like everyone else, and sometimes my faith in God wavers a lot. Will you please pray for her miraculous healing? We desperately need some relief from this situation. Maybe one of you will have a greater faith than I do...

THANK YOU!

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your mother’s suffering and the emotional weight you both carry. The pain of her physical condition is compounded by the injustice that led to it, and we know how heavy that burden must feel. Yet we serve a God who is not only the Great Physician but also the God of justice, the One who sees every wrong and will make all things right in His perfect timing. Do not let the enemy whisper lies that miracles are foolish or that your faith is too small—Jesus Himself said, *"If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you"* (Matthew 17:20, WEB). Your hope for healing is not madness; it is the very heart of what it means to trust in a God who *"heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB).

We also recognize the spiritual battle at work here. The enemy seeks to wear down your faith, to make you question whether God hears or cares. But Scripture assures us that *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your mother’s suffering is not unseen, and her cry for relief is heard by the One who collected every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). As for the emotional toll of the injustice she endured, we pray that God would bring supernatural peace and restoration, for He is the God who *"binds up the brokenhearted"* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB). Let her cast this burden upon Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7).

Now, let us address something tenderly but firmly: you mentioned that your faith wavers, and we want to encourage you to stand firm on the unshakable truth of who God is. Faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to trust God *despite* the doubt. Even the father who cried out to Jesus, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"* (Mark 9:24, WEB) was met with compassion and power. You are not alone in this struggle—many saints before you have wrestled with God in the night seasons, only to emerge with a deeper dependence on Him. Cling to His promises, for *"faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the proof of things not seen"* (Hebrews 11:1, WEB).

We also notice that your request, while heartfelt, does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Jesus is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Let us never forget that our access to the Father is through the Son, and we must always come in His name, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB).

---
**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious daughter and her mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, the Balm of Gilead, the One who restores what the locusts have eaten. We ask for a *miraculous* touch upon this mother’s body—knit together the tissues of her hernia, calm the burning of the acid reflux, and bring complete restoration to her physical frame. Let her body align with Your perfect design, and may her healing be a testimony to Your power and goodness.

We also pray for the emotional wounds she carries from the injustice that led to this suffering. Lord, You are a God of justice, and though we may not see Your hand moving yet, we trust that You will vindicate what is right. Comfort her heart, Lord, and replace her anguish with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her know, deep in her spirit, that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

Strengthen the faith of this daughter who loves her mother so dearly. When doubt creeps in, remind her of Your faithfulness throughout Scripture—of the blind who received sight, the lame who walked, and even Lazarus who was raised from the dead. Let her remember that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every symptom of pain, every side effect from medication, and every emotional stronghold to flee in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned. We declare that by His stripes, she *is* healed (1 Peter 2:24).

Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your angels, with godly support, and with tangible reminders of Your love. Provide wisdom for the doctors, discernment for decisions about treatment, and supernatural strength for each day. Let them feel Your presence in the waiting, and let their faith be refined like gold in the fire.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing, Your goodness, and Your sovereign will. May this trial draw them closer to You, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

---
Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement: do not grow weary in praying. Persist as the widow who kept coming to the judge (Luke 18:1-8), knowing that our God is far more compassionate than any earthly judge. Keep speaking life and healing over your mother, even when you don’t see immediate results. And remember, miracles often come in the *how* and *when* we least expect them. Stay anchored in the Word, surround yourself with believers who will stand in faith with you, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

If there is any unconfessed sin or bitterness in your mother’s heart toward those who caused the injustice, gently encourage her to release it to the Lord. Unforgiveness can be a barrier to healing (Mark 11:25), and we want her heart to be fully open to receive all that God has for her. Let this season be one where she experiences not only physical healing but also a deeper surrender to Christ.

We are standing with you in faith, believing for a testimony of God’s power in your mother’s life. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep expecting great things from our great God.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your mom's healing. We've been praying for her, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting in Jesus, no matter what. Sometimes, it's hard to see the mountain moving when we're right in the middle of the storm, but remember, even a mustard seed of faith can make the impossible possible.

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a different perspective. You mentioned that the injury that caused the hernia was unjust. That's a heavy burden to carry, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But we want to remind you that God sees every injustice, and He will make all things right in His perfect timing.

In the meantime, let's focus on what we can do. We can keep praying, keep trusting, and keep expecting a miracle. We can also encourage your mom to forgive those who caused the injustice. Holding onto bitterness can sometimes be a barrier to healing, and we want her to be fully open to receive all that God has for her.

We're not just praying for her physical healing, but also for her emotional healing and spiritual growth. We believe that God is a God of miracles, and He can do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

So, let's keep standing in faith together. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep expecting great things from our great God. We're believing with you for a testimony of God's power in your mom's life.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your mother—and your family—before the throne of grace these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, crying out to our Heavenly Father for His healing touch upon her body, His peace over her emotions, and His strength for your faith in this difficult season. We know how deeply the physical and emotional weight of this trial has pressed upon you both, and we have been interceding not only for miraculous restoration but also for the Lord to meet you in the weariness, the doubt, and the longing for relief.

We serve a God who is not limited by the brokenness of this world or the injustices that have brought pain into your lives. He is the same God who formed your mother’s body with intricate care, who sees every tear she has shed, and who promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him. Do not let the enemy convince you that hoping for a miracle is foolish—faith is not denial of reality, but a confident trust in the One who holds all things in His hands. Even when our prayers seem unanswered, He is at work in ways we cannot yet see.

If the Lord has moved in response to our prayers—whether through sudden healing, a doctor’s wisdom, or even a renewed sense of His presence in the waiting—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Testimonies of His faithfulness strengthen the body of Christ and remind us all that our God is still in the business of miracles. But if the struggle continues, we want you to know that we are not done praying. Post your request again, and let us keep contending for your mother’s complete restoration, for her emotional burdens to be lifted, and for your faith to be fortified in the waiting. You are not alone in this, and we will not grow weary in standing with you.

May the Lord remind you daily that He is near, that He hears, and that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Keep seeking Him, even in the hard moments, and trust that He is shaping something beautiful through this trial—both in your mother’s body and in your hearts. We are praying for you, believing with you, and trusting alongside you.

In Jesus Name.
