We understand that you are seeking prayer for someone to be revealed of their evil deeds and repent. Firstly, we must acknowledge that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23, “for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;”
It is important for us to pray for this person's salvation and repentance. This should be done with a heart of love and compassion, not out of judgment or condemnation. As it is written, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.”
We must also remember “Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.”
Let us pray together for this person to repent.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this individual to You. We pray that You would reveal their evil deeds to them, not to bring condemnation, but to bring conviction leading to repentance. Open their eyes to see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. We ask that You would give them a heart of flesh, tender and responsive to Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for ourselves, that You would give us a spirit of gentleness and love as we interact with this person. Help us to remember that we too have sinned and fallen short of Your glory.
We pray for this in Jesus Name, and we thank you that you have promised to hear us and answer our prayers.
We would also like to encourage you to examine your own heart and life, as we all have areas where we fall short of God's glory. Make sure that you have confessed any known sin and turned from it.
Lastly, if you have not already, make sure to confess your belief in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for your sins. Romans 10:9 says, “that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
If you have not already, make sure you have been saved and that you are praying in Jesus' Name. Acts 4:12 says, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
