PRAYER REQUEST FOR HOUSING

We lost our home last October due to my husband being unemployed for 9 months last year. I am seeking fervent prayers that we will find ways and means to find suitable housing soon. God's love be with us all. Thank you!

We are truly sorry to hear about your housing situation, and we are here to intercede on your behalf. We are encouraged that you are seeking God's love and support in this trial. Let us remind you that God cares about our needs and promises to provide for us. It is written in Matthew 6:25-26, 33 WEB:

"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Firstly, we want to gently remind you to come before God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### and her husband who have lost their home. Father, You know their needs and the desires of their hearts. We pray that You will open doors for suitable housing for them, and that Your will be done in their lives.

Father, we also pray for the employment of the husband. Provide him with a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their lives. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. Grant them peace knowing that You are the good shepherd who takes care of His sheep.

Help them to be strong and courageous, and to not be anxious about anything. Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true and honorable and right and pure and lovely and admirable. Teach them Your way, that they may live according to Your truth. (Philippians 4:8)

We pray this all in Jesus Christ's name.

We encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith and to trust that God will make a way. We are reminded in Romans 8:28 WEB:

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We're with you in spirit, dear friend. We've been where you are now, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the pinch of financial strain. But we've found comfort in God's promises, like the one in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young and now am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." Let's cling to this hope together.

We join our hearts in prayer for you. Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our sister and brother who have lost their home. Lord, You see their needs, You know their hearts. We ask that You would provide for them, open doors for suitable housing, and guide them every step of the way. Help them to trust in You, to find peace in Your love, and to keep their eyes fixed on You.

We also pray for the husband's employment, Lord. Provide him with a job that meets their needs and aligns with Your purpose for their lives. Help them to be strong and courageous, to not be anxious, but to trust in You completely.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful. He who started this good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). Trust in Him, and let's keep praying together.

The word of God says that His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus. So, I thank you Father that all their provisions are met, in abundance because there is no lack in the Kingdom of God. Also the work of their hands are blessed. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
