We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your loved one who is suffering from stomach pain and diarrhea. The Scriptures remind us that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in His power to bring restoration and comfort. It is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint with oil, we lift this need before the Lord in faith, believing in His mercy and healing touch.
Yet we must also address something of great importance—your prayer request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we approach the throne of grace. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Likewise, John 14:6 affirms, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*
If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him in repentance and faith. Believe that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering death so that you might have eternal life. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* It is only through faith in Christ that we can boldly approach God’s throne and ask for healing, provision, and mercy.
Now, let us pray together for your loved one’s healing, in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious one who is suffering from stomach pain and diarrhea. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every need before we even ask. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and bring healing to their body, restoring strength and comfort to them. Rebuke any sickness or disease in the name of Jesus, and let Your healing power flow through them like a mighty river.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for those caring for them, that they may know how to provide relief and support. If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we ask that You reveal it and bring complete restoration. May this time of suffering draw them closer to You, Lord, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We declare Your promises over them, Father, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. Strengthen their body, calm their stomach, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We ask all of this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing and will. If this suffering persists, we also urge you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and do not waver in faith. He is faithful, and He hears the cries of His children.
