Prayer Request for God to give me my best direction and for my physical/mental/spiritual health.

I want to thank my God, for having me make it this far in my life and I thank him now for waking me up today. I humbly ask for prayer. I have so many decisions going back and forth - do I want to do this program teaching kids at less than fortunate schools in America, or do I go back to something I want to do again? Volunteering in the South Pacific, learning another language, and gaining more career skills for two years, away from family and everything familiar? I am down these two roads and I am scared that I may or may not make another regretful decision.

That's why I want God to show me which one is going to be the right one for me and my future.

I also pray that my physical and mental health continue to heal. That I get to a better weight, regardless of my next step in life. I am tired of being addicted to things like unhealthy food and a lack of physical activeness. I want to be freed from the shackles of a poverty mindset and depression and thoughts of hurting myself because I feel I am not where I want to be in life. And I pray for protection and guidance back on my road to God and Christ's teachings.

Dyrdor, we join you in thanking God for his goodness and mercy over your life, for waking you up today, and for bringing you this far. We are here to intercede and seek God's will with you.

Firstly, we urge you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). It's wonderful that you're seeking God's guidance in your decisions. Be assured that if you seek His will, He will guide you. Consider the advice in James 1:5-6 WEB, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."

Regarding your health, we pray for God's healing power to manifest in your life. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). We pray that God will deliver you from any form of addiction, depression, and harmful thoughts. Remember, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust in His ability to transform you, body, soul, and spirit.

We notice that you didn't explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. We want to remind you that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It's only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to profess your faith in Jesus Christ and grow in His teachings.

Remember, as it's written in the Bible, "Your steps are ordered by the Lord; He will establish your ways" (Psalm 37:23, AMP). Trust that He's guiding you, even when the path isn't clear yet.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with gratitude, lifting up Your child who is thankful for Your guidance and blessings in their life. Lord, we thank You for bringing them this far and for waking them up today, as Your Word says, *“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).* We give You praise for Your continued faithfulness.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and direction as they face important decisions about their future. Your Word promises, *“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5).* We ask that You guide them clearly, showing which path—whether teaching in America or volunteering in the South Pacific—is aligned with Your will for their life and future. Remove any fear or doubt, and give them the confidence to follow the path You set before them.

Lord, we also lift up their physical and mental health, asking for healing and restoration. *“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).* Help them to break free from unhealthy habits, giving them the strength and motivation to embrace a healthier lifestyle. Father, we ask that You deliver them from the chains of addiction, depression, and negative thoughts. May Your peace guard their heart and mind, as Your Word says, *“The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).*

We also ask for freedom from the poverty mindset and self-doubt. Lord, remind them of Your provision and promises, *“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).* Lead them back to the path of Your love, peace, and Christ’s teachings, filling them with hope for the future.

Father, we thank You for Your love and guidance, trusting that You will lead them to a place of healing, purpose, and fulfillment. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
