We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have placed your trust in Jesus, for it is written, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). However, we must gently but firmly address that our prayers are to be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Mediator. Scripture warns us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Praying to Mary or any other intercessor is not aligned with biblical truth, as Jesus Himself is our only advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1). We encourage you to place your full trust in Him alone, for He is faithful and hears the cries of His children.
Your request for your child’s work permit in Canada is a matter we bring before the Lord with earnestness. The wait has been long, and we know how trying this season must be for your family. Yet we are reminded in Scripture to *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). This is not a time for anxiety but for trusting in God’s perfect timing, for *"in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:6, WEB).
We also urge you to examine whether this pursuit aligns with God’s will for your child’s life. If this work permit is part of His plan, then He will open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But if there is hesitation or uncertainty, seek His face in prayer and ask for wisdom, for *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Sometimes delays are God’s way of redirecting us toward His greater purpose. Let us not grow weary in waiting, for *"the Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him"* (Lamentations 3:25, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this family before Your throne of grace, asking for Your mercy and favor in the matter of their child’s work permit in Canada. Lord, You know the desires of their hearts and the needs they face. We ask that if this is Your will, You would move mightily in the hearts of those in authority to grant this permit swiftly and without obstacle. Remove any spiritual, bureaucratic, or unseen hindrances that may be delaying this process. Give this family patience and unwavering faith as they wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good.
We also pray that You would reveal Your will clearly to them. If this path is not the one You have ordained, soften their hearts to accept Your direction and open new doors of opportunity that align with Your purpose for their lives. Let them not lean on their own understanding but trust in You with all their hearts. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Guide, and their ever-present Help in times of need.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience that may be creeping into their minds. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that what is meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they rest in Your promises.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this season. Let them seek Your face above all else, finding their hope and security in You alone. May they walk in obedience to Your Word and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
