We understand your concern for your brother's well-being and your desire to keep him close. Firstly, it's important to address the misunderstanding between your spouse and your brother. We are called to live in harmony with one another, and this includes our family members and spouses. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
However, it's also important to respect your spouse's wishes and the sanctity of your marriage. As it is written in Ephesians 5:31, "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. And the two will become one flesh."
Regarding your brother's living situation, we pray that God will provide a suitable home for him, according to His will. Remember that Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up our brother and his living situation. We pray that You will provide a suitable home for him, close to his family, so that he may continue to be cared for and supported. We also pray for healing and reconciliation between his family and his sibling's spouse, that there may be peace and harmony in their home. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that You will guide and direct our brother and his family according to Your purposes.
We also pray for our brother's salvation, that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, if he does not already. We are reminded in Acts 4:12 that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing, knowing that He cares for your brother even more than you do. Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
