Prayer request for critical illness

We lift up your brother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. It is written in Psalm 103:2-4, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* We stand in faith, trusting that God hears our prayers and is able to bring complete healing and restoration to your brother’s body, mind, and spirit.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and we must come before God through Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."*
Meningitis is a serious and dangerous illness, but our God is greater. We pray that He would rebuke this sickness and command it to leave your brother’s body in Jesus’ name. We ask the Lord to strengthen his immune system, to restore any damage caused by this disease, and to fill him with supernatural peace and comfort during this time. May the Lord also surround your family with His presence, giving you wisdom, faith, and perseverance as you care for your brother.
We also encourage you to seek godly medical help and wisdom, for the Lord often works through the hands of doctors and caregivers. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who is suffering from meningitis and its complications. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch his body with Your restoring power. Rebuke this sickness and command it to leave him now, for no disease can stand in Your presence. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and fill his spirit with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we ask that You guide the doctors and medical professionals treating him, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. Surround this family with Your love and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in a mighty way. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, your brother is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we thank You for his complete recovery.
We also pray that if anyone in this family does not yet know You, Lord, that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their hearts to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they may experience the fullness of Your love and salvation.
We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the glory and honor. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you and your brother in this trial. We've been praying fervently, claiming God's promise in Psalm 103 to heal all diseases.
