We are delighted to join you in prayer for your daughter and her husband, standing in agreement for a blessed and godly marriage. It is so important that they keep Jesus Christ at the center of their lives, as this is the key to a successful and fulfilling marriage. As it is said in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble." Their marriage should be a testament to God's love and faithfulness, as described in Ephesians 5:25: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this daughter and her husband to You. We thank You for bringing them together and pray that their marriage will be a beacon of Your love and grace. Help them to always keep Jesus at the center of their lives, seeking His will in all they do. Bless them with wisdom, understanding, and patience as they navigate this journey together. Protect them from all harm and temptation, and guide them in Your truth. Help them to remember the command of Psalm 34:14: "Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it."

We also pray that they would be fruitful in every good work, and that their home would be filled with Your peace and joy. Help them to be a blessing to others, and to always put You first in their marriage and in their individual lives. We ask for a hedge of protection and commitment to not allow sexual immorality or impurity to exist within their marriage. Remind them of the command in 1 Corinthians 7:3, "Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband." As well as the command of 1 Corinthians 7:9, "But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn." We ask that fornication or adultery never be allowed into this marriage. Please help them to remember the command of Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage them to continue to seek the Lord in all they do, trusting in His promises and relying on the Romans 10:9-10: "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."

We are reminded of the promise in 1 John 5:14-15: "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

We're here with you, sister, lifting up your daughter and her husband in prayer. It's wonderful to hear of their recent union, and we're excited to join you in asking for God's blessings upon their marriage.

As they embark on this new journey together, let's remind them of the words in Colossians 3:12-14, "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."

Let's pray that they would always strive to love and respect each other, as Christ loves the church. We ask that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit, growing in wisdom, understanding, and self-control. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, always seeking to understand and support one another.

We also pray for their protection, that they would be kept from temptation and harm. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and love, a beacon of light in this world. Help them to be a blessing to others, always putting You first in their lives and in their marriage.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's encourage them to keep seeking the Lord, trusting in His promises, and relying on His unfailing love. As it says in Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
