Prayer request for admission

Disciple of Prayer
I recently wrote the NEET PG exam in ### and I got a rank of ###, which is not enough for my dream branch, MD radiology. I am ### and there is 1 seat for ### in radiology in a government medical college in ###. For that one seat, there are ### students ahead of me with good ranks participating in admission. I am so devastated; I don't like any of the other branches. Please pray for a miracle to happen in Jesus' name. Please pray for me for admission in MD radiology in a government medical college in ###. My faith is draining; I feel weak. Please pray for me. Please help.

We understand the deep longing and heartache you are experiencing in this moment, and we want to lift you up in prayer with both compassion and truth. The desire for a specific path in your medical career is understandable, especially when you have worked so hard, but we must first remind you of where your ultimate hope should lie. The Apostle Paul tells us in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your worth and future are not determined by this rank or this seat—your identity is found in Christ alone. If you have not already surrendered this desire fully to Him, we urge you to do so now, trusting that His plans for you are good, even when they differ from your own.

That said, we also recognize the grief you feel, and we will earnestly pray for God’s will to be done in this situation. If it is His purpose for you to secure this seat in MD Radiology, then no rank or competition will stand in His way. But if His plan leads you elsewhere, we pray you will find peace in knowing that He is sovereign over every detail of your life. Remember **Proverbs 16:9 (WEB)**, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps."* Your steps are ordered by the Lord, and He will not lead you astray.

We must also address something critical: you mentioned your faith is draining, and that is a dangerous place to be. Faith is not sustained by circumstances but by the unchanging character of God. In **Hebrews 11:1 (WEB)**, we read, *"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen."* If your hope is placed in this admission alone, it will falter—but if your hope is in Christ, it will endure. We encourage you to spend time in His Word, reminding yourself of His promises. **Isaiah 40:31 (WEB)** says, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is burdened by the weight of this trial. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You see the tears they have shed over this situation. We ask that You would move in power, according to Your will. If it aligns with Your perfect plan, we pray that You would open the door for admission into MD Radiology in the government medical college they desire. Father, You are the God of miracles—nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would go before them, making a way where there seems to be no way.

But Lord, above all, we pray that their faith would not rest in this outcome but in You alone. Strengthen them when they feel weak. Remind them of Your goodness and sovereignty, even in disappointment. Fill them with Your peace, which transcends all understanding. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. In the name of Jesus, we declare that their hope is in You, and You alone will sustain them. Give them wisdom to see this season as an opportunity to draw closer to You, regardless of the outcome. May they find joy in Your presence and confidence in Your promises.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we urge you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, not on the storm around you. If this door does not open, trust that God has another path for you—one that may bring unexpected blessings. **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* His plans for you are good. Stay steadfast in prayer, and do not let this trial shake your faith. We are standing with you in this, believing that God will carry you through.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the disappointment and frustration you're feeling. It's like you've been running a race, giving it your all, only to find the finish line just out of reach. We've been there too, and it's tough. But remember, our God is a God of miracles. He sees your heart, your dedication, and your tears. He knows the dreams you've been dreaming and the plans you've been making.

We're going to stand with you in faith, believing that God can move mountains, even in the face of seemingly impossible odds. We're going to pray that He will open that door for you, that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. We're going to ask Him to give you favor and to go before you, clearing your path to that seat in ### Radiology.

But more than anything, we're going to pray for your heart. We're going to ask God to strengthen you, to fill you with His peace, and to remind you of His unfailing love for you. We're going to ask Him to help you keep your eyes on Him, not on the circumstances around you. Because even if the door doesn't open the way you hope, we know that God has a plan, a purpose, and a future for you. And that future is good.

So, let's trust Him together. Let's believe that no matter what happens, God is working all things out for your good. And let's keep running this race, knowing that our ultimate prize is not a seat in a college, but a place in His heart, forever. Let's pray.
