Prayer request fo the peace of the world

We join with you in lifting up these pressing needs to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the need to bring all our concerns to Him. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we pray for the peace of the world. We live in turbulent times, and it's clear that the peace that the world needs can only come from God. We pray for the wisdom of our leaders, for the healing of divisions, and for the comfort of those caught in conflict and suffering. We remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 WEB: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
