We join with you in lifting up your request to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His sovereignty and protection. In the face of the coming storms, we stand on His promise that He is a present help in trouble.
Let us not forget the words of the Psalmist, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling" (Psalm 46:1-3 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Your power and might. We ask for Your protection over our brother/sister and their home as the storms approach. We pray that You will be their shelter and fortress, keeping them safe from harm's way. Lord, we ask that You will guard their home, keeping the limbs, trees, and roof secure, and that Your will be done regarding their power supply. Help them to trust in You, casting all their anxieties upon You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that our God is in control. Continue to pray and trust in Him, as He promises never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Remember that it is more important to have the peace of God than it is to have power.
