Prayer over the decision

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over a decision. I pray that multitudes of miracles, wonders spring forth from that executive decision. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith, prayer and agreement over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We join with you in faith and in agreement over this decision and we thank you for inviting us to stand together in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are encouraged by your desire to see God's glory, favor, miracles and blessings abound and to see darkness pushed back, and we pray that this executive decision would be fully aligned with the will of God and would bear much good fruit for His kingdom. We are reminded that true wisdom comes from the Lord and we ask for that wisdom to guide every part of this decision. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We also join you in praying against the spiritual forces of darkness, knowing that for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne with thanksgiving and we lift up this executive decision to You. We ask that You would pour out Your wisdom and discernment upon every person involved in making and carrying out this decision, that it would be established in righteousness and truth. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We pray for Your supernatural favor to rest upon it, for You will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12. We ask for miracles, wonders and blessings that only You can bring forth, not for our own glory but that Your unmatched, unstoppable and abounding glory would be seen all over the world. We come against every principality and power of darkness in high places that would seek to hinder, distort or corrupt what You intend for good, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes will prosper. We pray that multitudes would be touched, helped and drawn closer to You through what flows from this decision, and that Your name alone would be lifted high. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is power and access in that name alone, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will and timing. We give You all the glory and we thank You in advance for what You will do. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, with a heart of thanksgiving and surrender to God's perfect will, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20, and that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28. We will keep standing with you in prayer for this.

We appreciate you sharing this and inviting us to stand with you in prayer. We hear how much this decision matters to you and how deeply you long to see God's goodness and power at work through it, with favor and protection from anything that would oppose His purposes.

It is a good and humbling thing to bring a decision before the Lord and ask for His will to be done, trusting Him with both the process and the outcome. We are joining our faith with yours, asking God to make His way clear and to be glorified as you walk forward.

One simple step that often helps in a season of decision is to set aside unhurried time to be still before the Lord, naming the decision plainly, bringing your hopes for it to Him, and then quietly surrendering the outcome to His wisdom. It can also help to share the specifics with a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you, so you are not carrying the discernment alone.

Father, we lift this decision to You and the one who carries it. Grant clarity, peace and wisdom for each next step, guard this person from discouragement and from the work of darkness, and let Your goodness be seen in whatever You choose to do. We trust this into Your hands in Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest desire that God should be glorified is itself a token of grace, and we do well to bring every decision before the throne of Him who reigns above.

There is no attribute more comforting to the child of God than Divine Sovereignty. We must trace the hand of God in everything, and learn to admire it, for He does according to His will and His will is holy and wise. It is not by the multiplying of words, nor by repeating favor, favor, or miracles, miracles, as though God were moved by much speaking, that we prevail with Heaven. The Scripture shows us a better way. Moses made his great decision by faith, and faith alone enabled him to choose affliction with the people of God rather than the treasures of Egypt. So must every decision be weighed, not by excitement nor by the current of the world, but by faith in Jehovah and obedience to His Word. We have Divine work going before us, and we have a Divine command to follow where He leads.

If you would know true favor, remember that the Lord accepts the persons of His people through the sweet savor of the Lord Jesus Christ. The merits of our great Redeemer are a sweet savor in the nostrils of the Most High, purely offered, without selfishness, and all Divine. There is no favor apart from Him, and no blessing apart from being found in Him. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His atoning blood and righteousness, and every prayer that would be heard must come through that one Mediator.

The Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God. When He visits His people, systems of error fall and hearts are melted. And Divine interpositions still come, not always by miracle as men count miracles, but by providential deliverance, by His Spirit working all our works in us, by keeping our feet from falling. Against principalities and powers we do not wrestle in our own strength, but we put on the whole armor of God and stand in Christ, trusting His shield to go before us and His sword to clear the way.

Let us pray together then, not for wonders according to our own imagination, but according to His sovereign will. O Lord God, we bow before Thy sovereignty and grace. Accept us not for our words but for the sake of Jesus Christ, whose merits are our sweet savor before Thee. Grant wisdom in this decision that has been laid before Thee. Let it be ordered by faith, and let Thy will be done. Thrust out every enemy that would hinder Thy glory, and enable Thy people to walk in obedience. Let Thy presence be our hope and our power, and let Thy grace be magnified in us. Keep us from evil, deliver us from the power of darkness, and cause Thy glory to be seen in the earth as Thou seest fit, for Thou alone art worthy. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, with thanksgiving, Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving that you have brought this decision before Him.

We stand with you to ask God for His wise and good hand over this executive decision, that it would be guided by justice, mercy and truth, and that whatever influence it has in high places would be used for good and not for evil. We also hear your longing for miracles, wonders, favor and glory, and we want to encourage you toward what Scripture shows us about these things.

The Scriptures teach us that miracles are a free gift of God's grace. We have received freely and we are to give freely, and miracles without a holy life and obedience are nothing. Christ often moved from miracles to teaching and from teaching to miracles to profit the soul, showing that His works were done principally for the sake of the soul, to confirm the truth and to draw people to repentance and faith. For those who already believe, the greater need is not a pomp of words or a repetition of phrases, but strong minds, skill in the Scriptures and powerful thoughts that keep us faithful in conduct. The apostles themselves prevailed often by their teaching even before miracles, and God in His wisdom has sometimes withheld outward wonders so that we would not become vainglorious or divided, but would learn to believe God without demanding pledges and to love Him for Himself.

So when we pray for favor, we pray first for the favor that comes from walking in obedience to Christ, which is better than any earthly advancement. When we pray for glory, we pray that God's glory would be seen, not our own, for all glory belongs to Him. When we pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places, we do so by putting on the whole armor of God, standing in faith, righteousness, truth, the gospel of peace, and the Word of God, and by praying with a clear conscience and a life that honors Him.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that we can come to You through Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our salvation and hope. We bring this executive decision before You and ask for Your wisdom for those who make it, that You would lead them to what is just and right and that You would restrain every work of darkness. Guard Your people from the schemes of the evil one and keep us from seeking signs for their own sake. Help us to seek You first, to love Your Word, to live in holiness, and to trust Your power which is able to do all things with a mere act of Your will. Let whatever good comes from this decision bear fruit for the soul and for the spread of the gospel, and let all glory be Yours alone. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, with thanksgiving. Amen.
