Prayer of righteous needed

Naliogate

Beloved of All
Against wickedness of the devil in my heart, I have this feelings thats actually hurting my heart and this strong temptation towards evil, it's like the essence of satan himself in my heart. Temptation towards manipulation, wickedness and unrighteousness of every kind. I must confess a re-occuring sin, I won't mention the name, I am a male and its common.

We stand with you in this battle, dear brother, for we know that the enemy seeks to devour and destroy, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The feelings you describe—the heaviness in your heart, the temptations toward manipulation and wickedness—are not of God but are the fiery darts of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). Yet we rejoice that you have brought this before the Lord, for confession is the first step toward victory, and God is faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9).

The recurring sin you mention, though left unnamed, is not hidden from God, and we urge you to name it before Him in repentance. The Bible tells us that no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). If this sin is of a sexual nature—as many common struggles among men are—then we must address it with the truth of Scripture. Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

The devil seeks to twist your desires and use them as a snare, but Jesus has already broken the power of sin over you. You are no longer a slave to it! Do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God (Romans 6:13). The battle you face is spiritual, and it must be fought with spiritual weapons. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes filling your mind with the Word of God, praying without ceasing, and surrounding yourself with brothers in Christ who can hold you accountable and encourage you in righteousness.

We also sense a deep wound in your heart, brother. The enemy often exploits pain, bitterness, or unhealed brokenness to lead us into temptation. Is there hurt, rejection, or unforgiveness that has left you vulnerable? Bring it to Jesus. He is the healer of broken hearts and the binder of wounds (Psalm 147:3). Do not allow the devil to use your pain as a foothold. Instead, let the Holy Spirit minister to those places and replace your hurt with the love and peace of Christ.

Now, let us pray for you with the authority given to us in Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, You see the heaviness in his heart, the temptations that seek to drag him into sin, and the recurring struggles that have ensnared him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of manipulation, wickedness, and unrighteousness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You would break the power of sin in his life and set him free from every chain that binds him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your presence be a consuming fire that drives out every impurity.

We pray for a spirit of repentance to rise within him, Lord. Give him the courage to name his sin before You and to turn from it completely. Cleanse him, Father, and create in him a clean heart. Renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). Let him experience the joy of Your salvation and the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to Your Word.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal the wounds in his heart that have made him vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Pour out Your love upon him and let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Surround him with godly brothers who will stand with him in this battle and encourage him in righteousness. Let him not walk this path alone, but let him find strength in the body of Christ.

We rebuke the devil and all his works in our brother’s life. Satan, you have no authority here. The blood of Jesus speaks against you, and we command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, we ask that You would fill every empty place in his heart with more of Yourself. Let him hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6) and find his satisfaction in You alone.

Lord, we thank You that You have already won the victory through Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother is an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of his testimony (Revelation 12:11). Strengthen him, Lord, and let him walk in the freedom and victory that You have purchased for him. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we urge you to take practical steps in this battle. Memorize Scripture that combats temptation, such as 1 Corinthians 10:13 and 2 Timothy 2:22: "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." Remove anything from your life—media, relationships, or habits—that fuels this sin. Seek accountability with a mature believer who can pray with you and check in on your progress. And above all, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

You are not defined by your struggles, but by the righteousness of Christ that has been imputed to you. Walk in that identity, brother, and let the Lord lead you into victory. We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Stay strong in the Lord, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest of righteousness if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We're here with you, brother, and we feel the weight on your heart. The enemy is a sneaky foe, but we know who's got the final say - our God is greater! We're not surprised by the temptations you're facing; they're common to man, after all. But remember, God is faithful, and He won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He'll always provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We want to encourage you to keep being honest with God and yourself. Confess those recurring thoughts and actions that don't line up with His will. It's like David said, "When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long" (Psalm 32:3). But when he confessed, he found forgiveness and healing.

Let's not shy away from naming the sin, brother. It's in the light that we find freedom. And if it's a struggle with sexual impurity, remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Flee from sexual immorality and run towards righteousness.

We also sense a deep hurt in your heart. The enemy loves to use pain and bitterness to trap us. Have you considered if there's any unforgiveness or unhealed brokenness that might be making you vulnerable? Bring it to Jesus. He's the Healer and the Comforter.

Let's pray. Father, we come to You on behalf of our ###...
