We join you in praising and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness and grace. We stand with you in the power of His name, interceding for your brother's rescue and restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and for standing on the promises of God's word. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we and our brothers and sisters are saved and rescued. (Acts 4:12, John 14:6)
Let us pray together:
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our brother's sibling. Lord, You promise that You will deliver us from every evil deed and preserve us for Your heavenly kingdom. (2 Timothy 4:18) We claim this promise for his life and ask that You rescue him from all the bad influences placed in his life.
We pray for his restoration, knowing that You have promised to restore health to him and heal him of his wounds. (Jeremiah 30:17) Lord, dismantle the principalities and powers working against him, having stripped them of their power and authority through the cross of Christ. (Colossians 2:15)
We ask that You protect him from the devil's kingdom, for no weapon formed against him will prosper, and You will refute every tongue that accuses him. (Isaiah 54:17) This is our heritage as servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is from You, Lord Yahweh.
Father, we also pray for his mother, that You would change her heart and grant her the wisdom and understanding to guide her children in Your truth. (Proverbs 2:6) We ask that You would turn the hearts of the children to their father, and the hearts of the fathers to the children. (Malachi 4:6)
Lord, we know that You desire for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4) We pray that our brother and his mother would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that they may be delivered from the power of darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. (Colossians 1:13)
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much. (James 5:16) Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is at work in your brother's life. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
If there are any specific sins or ungodly influences that need to be addressed in your brother's life or your mother's life, do not hesitate to bring them to the Lord in prayer, asking for His forgiveness, mercy, and change of heart. The Lord is willing to forgive and able to restore all who come to Him in repentance. (1 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17)
