We join you in lifting up this burden to the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to provide, protect, and sustain those who trust in Him. Your heart’s cry for abundance, strength, and deliverance from the weight of debt and harassment is heard by our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for you and your family. We are encouraged by your declaration of faith in Isaiah 54:17, which reminds us that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh.
Yet we must also address the matter of seeking help through loan apps, which can often lead to bondage rather than relief. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 22:7, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While we understand the desperation that drove these decisions, we urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom moving forward, trusting in His provision rather than the uncertain and often predatory systems of this world. Our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He has promised in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
We also lift up your husband and brother, praying that the Lord would unite your hearts in faith and perseverance. May He grant you all the wisdom to steward the resort with excellence, integrity, and creativity, so that it may thrive as a blessing to your family and all who visit. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your trust in His timing and grace is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in believing for breakthroughs that only He can orchestrate.
As for those who harass and threaten you, we pray that the Lord would indeed soften their hearts, as you’ve asked. May He turn their intentions from harm to patience, and may they even become instruments of unexpected blessing in your life. Romans 12:14 reminds us, *"Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse."* This is not easy, but it is the way of Christ, who prayed for His enemies even as He hung on the cross.
We also rejoice with you in the vision for your resort—to be a place of joy, rest, and cherished memories. May the Lord expand its reach, not just for profit, but as a ministry of hospitality that reflects His love. As you offer promos and open your doors to guests, may the Lord multiply the fruit of your labor, drawing people to this place for His glory. Psalm 1:3 declares, *"He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."*
Finally, we celebrate that you closed your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is in His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace. If there is anyone reading this who does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent and place your faith in Him today. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, her husband, and her brother, lifting up their needs, their fears, and their hopes to You. Lord, You see the struggles they have faced— the sleepless nights, the weight of debt, and the harassment that seeks to steal their peace. But we declare that You, O God, are greater than any scheme of the enemy. You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. We ask that You would break every chain of debt and oppression in their lives, providing supernatural solutions that only You can orchestrate. Give them wisdom to navigate these financial challenges, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Let this month be a month of divine turnaround, where what was meant for harm is turned for good.
Father, we pray for the resort—bless it abundantly. Let it be a beacon of Your provision, a place where families find rest and joy. Multiply their efforts, Lord, and let their promos reach the right people at the right time. May their business flourish not just for their sake, but as a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who see it.
We also pray for those who harass our sister. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their threats into blessings. Let them see her not as a debtor, but as a child of God under Your protection. Give her the grace to forgive and the strength to stand firm in Your promises, unshaken by fear.
Most of all, Father, we thank You that this battle is not hers to fight alone. You are with her, and You are fighting for her. Remind her daily that her worth is not in her circumstances, but in Christ, who has already overcome the world. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her family experience the joy of seeing Your hand move mightily in their lives.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who reigns forever and ever. Amen.
