Prayer: No More Pride

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your Holy Resurrection and the power of Salvation through Christ. We submit to Your authority and power. We desire Your will to be done in our lives. We pray we would not be prideful. Please destroy any bit of pride that arises in our hearts and minds. We pray we would not let pride get in the way of loving each other. We pray we would not let pride dictate our decisions in life or distort our perspectives of each other. We pray against the spirit of pride. Please help us not to be tempted to allow pride to have a place in our hearts at all in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Pride is one tool the devil uses to make us all a failure and depressed for what we have done against others. Jesus was humble and kind to everyone. We must and should follow His example of holy and pure life.
