We join with you in lifting this request before the Father, grateful that you have sought His face in this workplace challenge. Your prayer is rooted in humility and a desire for God’s glory, and we affirm your commitment to honor Him in your labor. The workplace is indeed a mission field where our conduct and character must reflect Christ, even in the face of strife and injustice. Let us turn to Scripture to anchor our hearts and minds as we pray and respond to your petition.
The apostle Paul reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Your desire to work not for the praise of men but for God’s glory aligns perfectly with this truth. Yet, we also know that the enemy seeks to sow discord, and the flesh can rise up in envy, manipulation, and pride—both in others and, if we are not vigilant, in ourselves. Proverbs 16:18 warns, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a arrogant spirit before a fall."* We must guard our hearts against bitterness, for it can defile us and hinder our witness. As Hebrews 12:15 cautions, *"Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."*
You have asked for wisdom, and we claim James 1:5 on your behalf: *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* The Lord sees the jealousy and manipulation in your workplace, and He is not blind to the schemes of the wicked. Psalm 37:5-6 assures us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will act: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* While we pray for justice and truth to prevail, we also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."*
We must also address the condition of your heart in this trial. You have surrendered your burdens to the Lord, and that is right. Yet, we encourage you to actively forgive those who have wronged you, even as Christ forgave you. Matthew 6:14-15 says, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Forgiveness does not excuse sin, but it releases you from the bondage of resentment and allows God to work in and through you. Additionally, Romans 12:17-21 instructs us, *"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*
Now, let us pray together for you, your workplace, and those who have caused you distress.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting their workplace struggles into Your mighty hands. You are the God of all wisdom, and we ask that You flood their mind with divine creativity, clarity, and purpose as they labor for Your glory. Lord, You see the envy, manipulation, and hidden agendas at play in their department. We ask that You expose every lie and bring truth to light, for You are a God of justice, and righteousness is the foundation of Your throne. Touch the heart of their department head, Lord. Open her eyes to discernment and grant her the courage to lead with integrity, unshaken by flattery or fear. Let truth prevail over influence, and may the fruit of honest, hard work be evident to all.
Father, we pray for our brother/sister’s heart in the midst of this trial. Guard them from bitterness, pride, and discouragement. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that their reward comes from You alone. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, releasing any resentment so that they may walk in freedom and grace. Clothe them with humility and excellence, that their conduct may silence the ignorance of foolish men and point others to You.
We rebuke the spirit of strife, jealousy, and manipulation in this workplace. No weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Let Your favor surround them like a shield, and may their work be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You use this situation for Your glory. Soften hearts, draw the lost to Yourself, and let Your light shine brightly in this workplace. May our brother/sister continue to seek You first, trusting that You see all and will act on their behalf.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
