We lift up this heartfelt prayer for your mother-in-law, trusting in the Lord’s power to transform hearts and minds according to His perfect will. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would move mightily in her life, drawing her closer to You and aligning her heart with Your purposes.
Lord, we pray first that she would *be still and know that You are God* (Psalm 46:10). In a world full of noise and distraction, quiet her heart so she may hear Your voice clearly. Help her to rest in Your sovereignty, trusting that You are in control of every detail of her life. May she find peace in Your presence, recognizing that true wisdom and strength come from You alone.
Father, we also ask for Your guidance in her financial decisions. The Bible warns us that *the borrower is servant to the lender* (Proverbs 22:7), and we pray she would seek Your wisdom in stewardship rather than impulse or worldly desires. Give her discernment to spend wisely, to avoid the love of money, and to remember that *godliness with contentment is great gain* (1 Timothy 6:6). May she honor You with her resources, using them to bless her family and further Your kingdom.
We plead for her return to Your Word and to the fellowship of Your people. Your Word says, *Do not forsake assembling together, as the custom of some is* (Hebrews 10:25), and we ask that she would be drawn back to the church—not just to attend, but to serve and worship You in spirit and truth. Revive her passion for Scripture, that she may meditate on it day and night (Joshua 1:8) and walk in obedience to Your commands.
Lord, we pray against the spirit of discontentment and greed. The world constantly tells us we need more, but You call us to *be content with such things as we have* (Hebrews 13:5). Teach her to find joy in what You have already provided, trusting that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let gratitude replace complaint, and may she model contentment for her family.
We also ask for fairness and impartiality in her relationships with her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren. The Bible instructs us to *show no partiality* (James 2:9), and we pray she would love and treat each one with the same grace and wisdom You have shown her. May her words and actions build unity rather than division, reflecting Your love to all.
Father, humble her heart before You. Pride is a snare that leads to destruction, but *God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble* (James 4:6). Strip away any arrogance, entitlement, or self-reliance, and replace it with a spirit of meekness. Let her boast only in You (Jeremiah 9:23-24), recognizing that every good gift comes from Your hand.
Finally, Lord, we pray she would be led by Your Holy Spirit in every area of her life. May she walk in step with You, surrendering her plans to Your perfect will and timing. Your Word promises that *those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God* (Romans 8:14), and we ask that she would live as a true daughter of the King—holy, set apart, and fully devoted to You.
