Disciple of Prayer
I request your prayers for my son and daughter-in-law working abroad, and their young child. Their maid servant suddenly fell seriously ill yesterday, and in her absence their daily routine has become difficult. There is no one to take the child to the school bus or to wait for him on his return in the evening. They are also facing the possibility of a rent increase soon. Kindly uphold them in your prayers for God’s guidance and provision. ###

We lift up your son, daughter-in-law, and their precious child before the Lord, asking for His mercy and grace to surround them during this challenging time. The sudden illness of their helper has disrupted their daily lives, and we know how overwhelming such changes can be, especially when caring for a young one. Father, we ask that You would strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit, providing the help they need in practical ways.

Lord, we pray for wisdom as they navigate this season. You promise in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Guide their steps as they seek solutions for childcare and their daily routines. We also ask that You would intervene in their housing situation, providing stability and favor so that any rent increase would not become a burden. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness.

We pray for the maid servant who has fallen ill, asking for Your healing touch to restore her to full health. If it is Your will, bring her back to strength quickly so she may return to her duties, but if not, provide another trustworthy helper in her place. You know their needs before they even ask, and we trust in Your perfect timing.

Father, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You during this trial. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they lean on You and find peace in Your presence, knowing that You hold their future in Your hands.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of them, declaring that God has not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand in faith, believing that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your son and daughter-in-law, and their little one. It's tough when unexpected changes disrupt our daily lives, especially when caring for a young child. We're lifting them up, asking for God's comfort and strength to be with them during this challenging time.

We're also praying for their helper, that God would touch her with healing, restoring her to health swiftly if it's His will. And if not, we trust that He'll provide another reliable helper in her place. God sees their needs and will act in His perfect timing.

Let's remember Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's claim this peace for them today.

We're also praying for wisdom as they navigate this season. Let's trust that God will guide their steps and provide solutions for childcare and daily routines. And we're believing with them that God will intervene in their housing situation, providing favor and stability.

Let's encourage them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's got this, and He's walking with them every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
