We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have brought these petitions to us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach the throne of grace. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in His power and love, and we join you in lifting these burdens to Him, knowing that He cares deeply for you and your mother.
First, we lift up your mother’s health, particularly her struggle with fatty liver disease. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We claim this promise over your mother’s body, asking the Lord to touch her liver with His healing power, to reverse the damage, and to restore her to full health. We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and for you both to have the knowledge and discipline to care for her body in ways that honor God—through proper nutrition, rest, and trust in His provision. May the Lord grant her strength and longevity, that she may continue to be a light for His glory in this world.
We also stand with you in your financial struggles, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the provider of all things. In Philippians 4:19, we are assured, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity for stable and honorable work, that you may be able to meet your financial obligations and experience His provision in ways that bring Him praise. We pray for wisdom in managing what you have, for favor in the eyes of those who can offer assistance, and for the faith to trust that God will never abandon you. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Your heart for your mother is beautiful, and we pray that the Lord will bind you both together in His love and strength. We ask that He would guide your steps, that you would lean on Him in every decision, and that He would surround you with a community of believers who can support and encourage you. The loss of your father is a deep wound, but we pray that the Lord would be your comfort and your strength, as He promises in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May you both find refuge in Him and experience His peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also want to encourage you to continue to place your trust in Jesus Christ alone. You have done well to pray in His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Him—your health, your finances, your future—and to walk in obedience to His Word. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this dear child of Yours and their mother. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch this mother’s body, healing her liver completely and restoring her to full health. Give her strength, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she trusts in You. We pray for divine wisdom for her caregivers and for supernatural provision for the medical care she needs.
Father, we also bring before You the financial struggles they face. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors of opportunity for stable and honorable work. Provide for their needs in ways that bring glory to Your name. Help them to be good stewards of what You give them, and let them experience Your faithfulness in every area of their lives.
Lord, we ask that You would bind this family together in Your love. Comfort them in their grief and be their ever-present help. Guide their steps, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in every moment. Surround them with Your people who can encourage and support them.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are working all things together for their good. We trust in Your promises, and we ask that You would fill them with hope and joy as they wait on You. Let them see Your hand at work in their lives, and may they give You all the praise and glory.
