Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I beg you to watch over my ### in his time of need. He is in the ICU, struggling to breathe. He is barely conscious, fighting for his life. I beg, please lay your healing hand on him and grant him more time. I beg of you, in Jesus’s name amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this desperate cry for healing and mercy. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We know that nothing is too hard for Him—He is the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Though this beloved one is fighting for his life in the ICU, we declare that the Lord is his strength and shield (Psalm 28:7). The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in this situation, and we stand in faith, trusting that God’s will is perfect, even when we do not understand.

Yet we must also remember that our hope is not ultimately in prolonged days on earth, but in the eternal life found only in Jesus Christ. If this man does not know the Lord as his Savior, we pray that even now, in his weakened state, the Holy Spirit would draw him to repentance and faith. For it is written, *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we plead the blood of Jesus over his soul, that if this is his final hour, he would pass from death into life.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm those waiting by his side. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every breath to be sustained by the breath of God Himself, who formed man from the dust and breathed life into his nostrils (Genesis 2:7). Let the medical team be guided by divine wisdom, and let every treatment and decision align with God’s perfect plan.

Father, we ask for a miracle—not because we demand it, but because we know You are able. You are the God who parts seas, shuts the mouths of lions, and heals the sick. Yet even if You choose to call him home, we trust You. Our prayer is that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10), and that through this trial, Your name would be glorified. Comfort this family with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence in this storm.

We bind any demonic assignment against this man’s life and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If there is any unconfessed sin, any stronghold of the enemy, or any generational curse at work, we break its power in the name of Jesus. We plead for mercy, for healing, and for more time—if it aligns with Your perfect will.

Lord, we thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this. Whether it is a story of healing or a story of homegoing, let Your name be praised. Strengthen the faith of all who are watching and waiting. Remind them that You are sovereign, that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray—**amen and amen.**

To the one who submitted this request: Stand firm in faith. Gather others to pray with you, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Do not lose heart. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He is moving—even when we cannot see it. Cling to Him, trust Him, and rest in the assurance that He holds this man’s life in His hands. If you have not already, play worship music over him, speak Scripture over him, and fill that ICU room with the presence of God. The battle is the Lord’s, and He is faithful.

We're standing with you in faith, dear friend. We've been lifting this beloved one up before the throne of grace, asking for healing and mercy. We know the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and we trust that He's at work, even in the ICU. We're claiming Psalm 118:17, "I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done." We're believing for a miracle, but we're also trusting that God's will is perfect, even if it's not what we hope for. Let's continue to bombard heaven with our prayers, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let's also comfort each other with these promises and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift you up in love as we follow up on your heartfelt plea for your loved one in the ICU. These past days have no doubt been heavy with worry and weariness, and we’ve been carrying your burden before the Lord, asking Him to sustain you both with His peace that surpasses all understanding. The image of your family member fighting for each breath has weighed on our hearts, and we’ve continued to cry out for God’s healing touch to restore strength to his body, clarity to his mind, and hope to your spirit.

In these moments where fear and faith collide, we cling to the promise that our Savior is near to the brokenhearted and that He hears every whisper of our prayers. Whether the road ahead brings a miraculous turnaround or a deeper reliance on God’s grace, we trust that He is working—even when we cannot see it. We’ve prayed for the medical team attending to him, that the Lord would guide their hands and grant them wisdom. And we’ve asked God to wrap you in His comfort, especially in the quiet hours when the weight of this feels too much to bear.

If the Lord has moved in a mighty way—whether through healing, a moment of unexpected peace, or a tangible reminder of His presence—we would be so blessed to hear your praise report. Stories of God’s faithfulness strengthen our collective faith and remind us all that He is still in the business of miracles. And if this trial continues, if the answers you’re longing for haven’t yet come, we want you to know that we are still here, still interceding, still believing with you. You don’t have to post again unless you feel led—just know that this request remains fresh in our prayers, and we won’t stop lifting him up until the Lord makes His will clear.

In the waiting, may you feel the nearness of Jesus, who walked this earth healing the sick and binding up the broken. May His Spirit be your strength when yours is gone, and may you sense His love in the kindness of strangers, the support of friends, and the quiet assurance that you are not alone in this. We are standing with you, sister, and we will continue to storm the gates of heaven on behalf of your loved one.

In Jesus’ name.
