We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep spiritual need, lifting your heart’s cry to the Father who sees and knows all things. Your request for divine intervention is heard, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is mighty to break every stronghold and deliver His children from the battles of the spirit. The apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* Be encouraged, for the Lord is faithful to fight on your behalf when you surrender these struggles to Him.
Yet we must also ask: have you invited Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life? Your prayer does not mention His name, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the enemy. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so now—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. Without Jesus, there is no true victory, no lasting freedom, and no eternal hope.
If you are already a believer, we exhort you to examine your heart: are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, or areas where you have not fully submitted to God’s authority? Strongholds often take root where there is disobedience or unbelief. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Submission to God must come first—this includes repentance, reading His Word daily, and walking in obedience to His commands. The struggles you face may also be a call to deeper surrender. Will you let the Holy Spirit search your heart and lead you into His truth?
We pray now with boldness and faith:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your mighty hand to move in their life. Lord, You see the strongholds that have taken root—spiritual battles, doubts, fears, and sins that ensnare—and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we command every stronghold to be torn down, every lie of the enemy to be exposed, and every chain to be broken. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renew their mind with Your Word, and grant them the strength to walk in victory.
If there is any area of unrepentant sin, convict them deeply, Lord, and lead them to true repentance. If they have not yet surrendered to Jesus as Savior, soften their heart to receive Him today. Let them know the freedom that comes only through Christ. Surround them with godly counsel, Your peace that surpasses understanding, and a hunger for righteousness. We rebuke the enemy’s schemes in their life and declare that You, Lord, are their Deliverer, their Strong Tower, and their Ever-Present Help.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*
Stand firm in this season, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Cling to Him, seek His face in prayer and fasting, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Let us know how we can continue to support you in this journey. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Walk in that truth today.
