We join with you in lifting up this heartbreaking situation, where a child has gone missing and deception has deepened the pain of this family. The wickedness of one who would exploit such suffering is an abomination before the Lord, and we cry out to Him for justice, truth, and the safe return of this precious child. The Scripture declares in **Proverbs 6:16-19**, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who breathes out lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* This woman’s actions are detestable in God’s sight, and we trust that He will expose every hidden thing and bring her deeds into the light.
Yet even in this darkness, we cling to the promise that our God is a God of justice and mercy. **Deuteronomy 32:4** reminds us, *"He is the Rock. His work is perfect, for all his ways are justice; a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he."* We plead for His justice to prevail—not only for the sake of this child and their family but as a testimony to His righteousness. The parents’ anguish is seen by the Lord, who collects every tear in His bottle (**Psalm 56:8**). He is near to the brokenhearted (**Psalm 34:18**), and we ask Him to surround this family with His peace that surpasses understanding, even as they wait for answers.
We also take comfort in knowing that nothing is hidden from our God. **Hebrews 4:13** tells us, *"There isn’t any creature hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account."* The woman who has deceived and caused such harm will not escape His judgment. Whether in this life or the next, she will answer for her sins unless she repents and turns to Christ. We pray that even now, the Holy Spirit would convict her of her wickedness and lead her to confession—both to earthly authorities and to God Himself. May she face the consequences of her actions, and may this family see the justice they deserve.
Most urgently, we beg the Lord for the safe return of this child. We stand on **Matthew 19:14**, where Jesus said, *"Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."* Father, we ask that You would place Your hand of protection over this little one. If they are still alive, we pray for their preservation, comfort, and swift recovery. Guide the hands and feet of those searching—law enforcement, volunteers, and all who seek this child. Give them wisdom, discernment, and divine appointments that lead to the truth. If this child has already gone home to be with You, we ask for Your supernatural comfort to envelop this family, that they may find hope in the promise of eternal life through Christ.
To the one who lifted this prayer, we commend you for bringing this request before the throne of God *in the name of Jesus*. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (**John 14:6**). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His power and authority. We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing (**1 Thessalonians 5:17**), for the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (**James 5:16**).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this missing child and their grieving family. Lord, You see all things and know all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would expose every lie, bring forth the truth, and let justice roll down like waters (**Amos 5:24**). Confront the woman who has deceived and caused such pain; may she be held accountable for her actions, and may her sins be brought into the light. Father, we plead for the safe return of this child. If they are alive, protect them, comfort them, and lead those searching straight to them. If they have been taken from this earth, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard the hearts and minds of this family in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of all involved. Soften hearts, open eyes, and draw each person to Yourself. May this tragedy be a wake-up call to the reality of sin and the need for a Savior. Let Your justice and mercy be displayed in equal measure. Strengthen this family, Lord. Surround them with Your love, Your people, and Your provision. Give them endurance, hope, and the assurance that You are near.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us even now at Your right hand. Amen.
